What We Do

At Water Ski and Wake Association of Alberta, we are dedicated to promoting participation and excellence in all aspects of towed water sports across Alberta. We offer a variety of programs designed for individuals of all ages and abilities, including grassroots initiatives, skill development for competition, and inclusive opportunities for both able-bodied and adaptive athletes.

Our programs include:

  • Grassroots Program: Introducing newcomers to the exciting world of water skiing and wake sports, with a focus on building confidence and skills.

  • Alberta Rippers: A competitive program fostering the development of advanced water skiing and wakeboard skills for athletes striving for excellence at the provincial and national levels.

  • Lake Ambassador Program: Engaging local communities to promote water safety and stewardship on Alberta’s lakes.

  • Splash Adaptive Program: Offering tailored experiences for individuals with disabilities, ensuring everyone can enjoy the thrill of towed water sports.

  • Rip N Ride Skills Program: A focused skills development initiative for athletes looking to enhance their technique and performance, whether recreational or competitive.

Our mission is to support and encourage water sports enthusiasts and their families, from first-time participants to elite athletes, at local, provincial, national, and international levels. Through education, mentorship, and resources, we strive to foster a supportive community for all involved in towed water sports.
