DIVISONS

Divisions

The Wake Tour is separated into many categories to accommodate all ages and levels of ridings.  It is our goal to provide an appropriate competition level for all riders.

JUNIORS:

Must be 12 years old or under as of Jan 1st of the competition year.

Division is split between boys and girls.

There is no split in Juniors based on board type.

AMATEUR:

13 – 35 Years 

If you are new and 13 years old or older, this is the spot for you.

Division is split between Male and Female.

Division is split into skim and surf style when possible. If there are not enough riders for a split division, the division will combine skim and surf.

OUTLAW:

13+ years

This is for more advanced riders.

Riders may be promoted to Outlaw from their amateur results from the previous year.

Division is split between Male and Female.

Division is split into skim and surf style when possible. If there are not enough riders for a split division, the division will combine skim and surf.

*Depending on ability Officials may ask a rider to move up from Amateur to Outlaw.

MASTERS:

35+ years 

This is a division for all you rad moms and dads and the ‘older’ crowd. 

Division is split between Male and Female.

Division is split into skim and surf style when possible. If there are not enough riders for a split division, the division will combine skim and surf.


 

PRO:

13+ years

This is for the Pros.

Riders may be promoted to Pro from their Outlaw results from the previous year.

Division is split between Male and Female.

Division is split into skim and surf style when possible. If there are not enough riders for a split division, the division will combine skim and surf.

*Depending on ability, officials may ask a rider to move from Outlaw to Pro.

DUAL ENTRY:

Dual Entry allows for a rider to compete in both Skim and Surf within their division. At some events dual entry may be permitted based on the number of entries per division.

FOIL:

We have now added a foil division as well. More details to follow.
